I'm looking for some good book recommendations to get me out of this reading slump I'm in, anything is fine by me but I've never been romance biggest fan, anything by Colleen Hoover is an automatic no, please and thank you :D I'm pretty open minded otherwise and tend not to judge by covers, spicy is not required? But I won't like violently gag at the sight of it? Um, yeah thanks so much!

When Breath Becomes Air is a wonderful nonfiction story about a physician who develops fatal lung cancer. It is very philosophical and makes one appreciate life more. It is a rather quick read, and I would highly recommend.
Firekeepers daughter is my favorite book it's realistic fiction, some romance, mystery, and the author is also native American so the main character is native American and the author seamlessly weaves in the culture with the story telling it's so good
you can try a good girls guide to murder, if you haven't already. it is about a girl who solves a murder the police wasn't able to. i really liked it!
try "All The Bright Places" or "The Fault In Our Stars"! Those are my fave books of all time. Extremely sad but sooooo worth it.
