What is your favorite travel book? And has it inspired your writing?

Mine is Eat Pray Love. I first started solo traveling at the age of 17 and so many people over the years judged me for it (especially considering I would do solo trips as a married woman). This book spoke to that adventurous part of me and reminded me that it doesn’t matter what others think. All I must do in this life is listen and act on what my heart calls me to do. Elizabeth Gilbert perfectly describes this feeling and all that is involved in solo travel.
