Hey I was just looking around on here and check out this series & tell me if this looks like something you’d like to read

This story is already starting off strong

I stopped reading the Outlander series after book 3 or 4 I think.

I will start the second Veronica book today ;)

For me its one of those rare times I felt the show was better and it felt less long hahaha...
I started, red the first 3 chapters and I'm def intrigued :) Also, just love the banter between her and Stoker.

I'll be starting tomorrow!! I'm excited!!

also, I just received a "skip-the-line" copy of Kristin Hannahs new book, The Women! I'm only going to have it for the next week or so :) I know we just started this one, but not sure if you guys had your copies already and were waiting for me to get mine lol

actually, the hold went away lol but my library acquired more copies so I should have mine in about 3 weeks :) false alarm lol

I have The Women on my shelves. I signed up to read it for UNO this month for the red card as I thought you already have the book. So would need to pick it up in March. Hopefully it works for you guys too :)

I'm on chapter 5. It's so sweet that Stoker was trying to convince her to not get involved with her "family's" drama but I do feel for her :/ do you think she does only want to help as a way to tell them to "go to the devil" as stoker put it?

I think that she wants to help and she is also curious haha. I did like Lady Wellie as well.

I doubt they will be doing much working on their actual "job" when they start digging deeper. I will be doing some more reading tonight I think :)

POTENTIAL SPOILER: I thought it was crazy that even his own wife is convinced he did it! I also think it's sad that she's resigned to the idea that her husband has all these mistresses :/ I guess that's how it was back then, especially with the elite

btw - I was able to get The Women! so I'll be starting that soon :) Courtney, did you say you had it as well?

I know...I found that a bit weird, but yes back then, it was more common.
Also that Emma woman got a bit nervous when she found out that they were investigating.

I got my copy yesterday for the women so I’m ready after this one too!

And yes cheating back then was almost accepted but now a days it’s everywhere too! My bf and I watch tv or movies and it’s literally every single show or movie someone is cheating but now it’s also women! It makes me so mad that they are normalizing it

In a way, at least back then when it was out in the open and you knew what to expect. Nowadays its behind your back. I do hate cheating.

Same! I can’t wait to read them all! I almost lost my book today I guess I put it on top of my car and rode off - well when I went to go find it today it was gone so I started panicking naturally…. Fast forward a few hours my bf and I were leaving the house and my neighbor was walking his dog with my book in his hand! Thank god my bf noticed it because I sure didn’t!!

Oups, it happens...glad you found it. Good thing your bf saw it and that your neighbour picked it up, that's for sure.

I know because I rode around looking for in on the ground before he got home!! He has hawk eyes 😂
