Norman Mailer discussion

Anybody interested in co-reading and exchanging thoughts through the 1100+ pages of Harlot’s Ghost? Something finally made me pull it down from the shelf—it’s time.

I might be -- I'm about to finish Selected Letters of Norman Mailer, which is inspiring me to re-read some of my favorite Mailer titles. Let me know when you're interested in starting HG.

Hi Michael, I got a little start yesterday evening—but I’m slow. I think if you were to join anytime in the next week or two we could probably end up close enough in the text for most of it.

I'll see. The problem right now is that I don't own the book, so I'd have to buy a copy or borrow one from my local library -- and I don't know how long that'll take for me to do. I'll keep you apprised.

Sounds good. Be reassured in that when I say I’m slow I mean it.
