You start to feel hot, but as soon as you place water down, it disappears into thin air. Zombie pigmen are everywhere but don't seem to attack you, unlike their gold-hungry cousin: a Piglin. Bastions full of treasure and Nether Fortresses full of firey death lie off into the distance. Some explorers had to travel far just for one Blaze. Various biomes, like in the Overworld, are spread neatly throughout the Nether. Crimson and Warped Forests, Soul Sand Valleys. A whole new adventure awaits. Right now you're in the Nether Wastes, where Netherrack makes up most of the terrain, but a large lava lake covers the entirety of the Nether floor. Rumor has it that there's a bedrock ceiling. I'd suggest believing all rumors about the Nether...it's a dangerous place.
