Dennis of WV | 8 comments I'm about ready to start a new audiobook. Are there any suggestions for an audiobook in March?

Phil Kolocotronis | 1 comments Not a retirement book, but if you like history, Midnight in Chernobyl is a good selection. The author did a great job of weaving in Soviet history and explaining how they got to the literal breaking point with the Chernobyl plant.

Deb | 2 comments I enjoy the Louise Penny series of Three Pines. The audiobook narrator is great and her main character, Inspector Gamache, is one of the best in this genre. I download the books through my library so: FREE! Book One: Still Life.

Mark Evans | 1 comments I'm half way through "The Mysterious Case of Rudolf Diesel: Genius, Power, and Deception on the Eve of World War I" and find it interesting. Life story of the inventor of the Diesel engine, some American and European history between 1860 and 1930, industry, monopolies, and more.

Scott Trautmann | 1 comments I second the suggestion of the inspect gamache series. He's a very deep character and the audio books are excellent.

Marta | 2 comments The Dutch House by Ann Patchet and narrated by Tom Hanks is said to be one of the best audio books. I enjoyed it, but I enjoyed, “Demon Copperhead,” by Barbara Kingsolver even more. The author and the narrator did an excellent job with language, dialect, and contemporary slang.
