hiii swifties! wanted to check in since we're a little over halfway through the month. How is everyone coming along with this month's book? Do we like it or it's not for you? Let's discuss!

I finished reading this book last night, and I honestly enjoyed it. It was a cute book with the classic enemies to lovers trope, which I love. While reading the book there were 2 debut songs that came to my mind. The way Liz was so infatuated with Michael, and he barely seemed to notice her most of time, I immediately thought of Teardrops on my Guitar. As the book went on, and her relationship with Wes progressed I thought of I'm Only Me when I'm With You because of way those two could be themselves around each other and Liz didn't have to change the way she looked for him.

i so agree with TOMG, i had the same vibes!! i also loved that she mentioned paper rings at a point lol. i thought the book was super cute and it definitely made me laugh out loud at certain points. i also loved how the universe made it clear she did NOOOOOT belong with michael at all. i cant wait for book 2 :)

I definitely agree with the relation to I'm Only Me When I'm With You. It's the perfect song to describe Liz's relationship with Wes. It was a super cute book and I enjoyed all the swiftie references. I also noticed a reference to Wildest Dreams on page 23 😊

I'm glad you both liked the book! It was definitely a cute read. There were a few Taylor Swift references! I think New Years Day was mentioned during prom. I agree that the universe did not want Liz with Michael! it was giving her major signs. lol

I finished this book yesterday! I thought it was super cute and I enjoyed it a lot. I agree with I’m only me when I’m with you and teardrops on my guitar being a good songs to relate the book too. I kept thinking of “You Belong with Me” but of course had to remind myself we were in debut era. 😆
