Ok I've got some nominations, The Bad Beginning and A Wrinkle in Time

I nominate Insignificant Events in the Life of a Cactus!

(also, side note, are there specific rules for books of the month? Like only certain genres? Or can it be anything as long as it's clean?)

I would say YA since that's the majority of our readers and definitely keep it clean and age appropriate, (Quite a few of our readers are 13 or younger so at least make sure it's appropriate for them). And try not to do books that have unbiblical teaching/views. Other than that I don't think it matters.

And we mods are allowed to just not include a book if we see it's clearly not appropriate for this setting. Just throwing that out there.

I wanna read his books! I haven't gotten to any of them yet tho. Have you read any of George MacDonald?

I read his whole Corrie Belle Hollister series and it is SO good! And I haven't read of George MacDonald. Are there any you would recommend?

I nominate “and then there were none” by Agatha Christie

I nominate On The Edge of the Dark Sea of Darkness by Andrew Peterson

It's more on the middle-grade side, but YA readers can enjoy it, too

I third and fourth and fifth On the Edge of the Dark Sea of Darkness! I love this book! (I think that settles what book is nominated!)

(only problem is, I don't think it's quite ok to do that... lol)
