Another top tier judgment, kinda want a judge to take it not so seriously soon so we have something to grouse about! I have tried to start Lost Journals maybe 5 times and not gotten beyond 10 pages, but it's certainly a novel I find more interesting in theory.
For real, I appreciate the judgements this year. Really great.
Agreed - great judgements so far, and it seems several of the judges have books coming out later in 2024. I find my tbr list growing because I want to support these insightful and thoughtful writers and see what their work is like.
My favorite judgment so far. I’m out, she was writing what I didn’t know I was thinking until I read it. I was rooting for LJOS even though I, too, would not have finished it had it not been for the ToB. But I blame myself for not liking it more, the author asking a little bit more from the reader. I failed her. As opposed to Big Swiss.
