Thanks Pat of Rocks! It’s been so cool to see it on physical books rather than just the computer screen!
Hi Jay, I hope all goes well with the launch. Time travel is a niche genre but people who love it really love it!
Thanks Rosalind and Lizz! It is such a unique genre, with the potential to appeal to fans of both Sci Fi and Historical Fiction. I loved that it gave me the excuse to nerd out about both history and science, two topics I love but usually struggle to combine.

In TWTW, a pair of Chronomads embark on a one-way journey to teach science and medicine to medieval England in the hopes of sparking an early Renaissance and mitigating the inevitable celestial calamity that awaits in the future. But when humanity’s developmental Time Machine fails, Matilda finds herself alone in an unfriendly period with no way to communicate with the future. And no way back.
A decade in the making, TWTW draws upon my love of science and history to explore what might be plausibly achieved if humanity discovered a way to send people back to the 12th Century. In my research I have toured experimental nuclear reactors, clambered over castle ruins and learnt how to build the everyday technologies we now take for granted. All in the hopes of creating as realistic a portrayal of time-travel as possible.
Check it out if you’re intrigued by warring nobles, accusations of magic, and a mission to recreate modern civilisation completely from scratch.
