(view spoiler)[Tzuyu is bright and bubbly, and she cares a lot for other people’s feelings. She has been on stage since she was 13 and stage has changed her into a loving and caring person. Tzuyu is a natural therapist and will be anyone’s friend, in fact she wants to be everyone’s friend. She holds her group together and hates arguments. Tzuyu is essentially the peacemaker that everyone needs. Her grandparents knew Celeste Newsome, as she is from the same province, and Tzuyu is determined to be a lot better than Celeste.
Well. She never wanted to be in the Selection anyway. That was Lisa.
Tzuyu gets along well with nearly everyone, just one smile from her can charm nearly everyone. Without even considering her stunning beauty. She is a very hard worker but sometimes her parents expect too much of her and she overworks. Tzuyu always tries her best and everyone respects her, and she is a very talented girl.

(view spoiler)[Tzuyu was originally from New Asia, but her parents got into some trouble with overworking their idols so they moved to Clermont and brought New Asia’s style of music and their idols to Illéa which immediately gained a lot of popularity. However, Tzuyu chose to join her parents’ idol company. She’d been training to be an idol since she was 7 and finally debuted when she was 13 in a group of 6 people. Tzuyu was appointed as the leader even though she is the maknae and the public immediately adored her because of her visuals and hard working nature. Despite being the youngest, she supports the group and keeps it together, especially one or two of the more anxious or mentally unstable members.

Her sisters were both the ones who wanted to enter the Selection, and Tzuyu the one who didn’t want to enter the Selection, but her parents forced them all to enter (except Momo despite her wails) and of course Tzuyu got in because of her stunning visuals. No one wanted Lisa to get in, as she would be a repeat of the candidate who wrecked the province’s reputation - Celeste Newsome - and Momo was too young, so her parents forced Tzuyu to enter as she stood the most chance. Tzuyu was the only one of the Nakamura sisters who had debuted so she had a lot of talent, a wonderful personality and good looks. She was also of age and had lots of popularity.

When Tzuyu was chosen, she cried, only to find that there were crowds outside her parents’ idol company calling for her to come out and cheering. Tzuyu didn’t think that she could bear it, but her best friend Jihyo talked her into it. To support her, Jihyo had promised to write to her everyday and she even suggested applying to be a servant just to be with Tzuyu, which Tzuyu did not accept at all but she was stunned at her friend’s kindness. Jihyo had been her friend since training and had debuted with her, and Jihyo was her emotional support, and Tzuyu and Momo’s favourite person on the planet.
