We don't update covers. If the ASIN or ISBN remains the same you can add an alternate cover edition.
I have. But the temp cover is still the first one coming up first. I'd rather the alternate cover edition came up as the photo
If you want the new cover to appear on author page you can edit that edition and select it as primary/default edition.
I've done that, but just did that this morning. Maybe it takes a bit to update?
