Cress - Book 3 of The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer. Why did I jump on this bandwagon so late?! xD
Ruchi-I love the Jack reacher books.Pranjali-Me too. I just read Cinder and loved it.
I just finished my first Goodreads freebie:), Dreams of My Mothers: A Story of Love Transcendent
It is an amazing story of a young scared boy who's life is his mother. It is about a heartbreaking sacrifice of a loving mother who feels she has no other choice then to give her son away for a better life. It is about another mother who is opening her and her family's world to adopting a young Korean/American boy to give him the love he deserves and a chance for a better life. It is a wonderful story about two very strong mothers who gave the same boy all the love they could give a boy to make him a better man.
There were a few parts where the author went a little off track and into too much detail about things that really didn't need to be in the book but it didn't take away from the story.
I am in the middle of Zoo Story: Life in the Garden of Captives It is OK and sad. Even though zoos have gotten better and more "animal" friendly it is still a rough life for them even though the book points out that in some cases a zoo is better for them.
On a good note Barnum and Bailey is planning to retire all of their elephants:) "Starting in 2018, elephants will not be performing in the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus."
I also just started another botm book,The Silver Linings Playbook I have never heard of the story even though it was made into a movie. At this point I have no idea what happened to the protagonist but it is an easy enough read that flows pretty well. It should be a fast one for me.
I just finished The Memory Palace: A Memoir by Mira Bartok and I absolutely loved it although some sections of the book were hard to process at times due to too much detail being used by the author.I am now reading Where She Went by Gayle Forman as I finished the first book, If I Stay, last September.
I am currently reading three books, but my main book that I am reading The Awakening by Kelley Armstrong! The other two books that I am currently reading is Monsters of Men by Patrick Ness and Uglies by Scott Westerfeld!
I'm thrilled to begin The Invention of Wings. I hadn't read it yet and was given a copy through Netgalley. Anyone enjoy this book?

It's good. So far...the development of the characters was smooth but kinda slow...and heat just started to build up right in the middle..i just thought there would be action right from the start like the other ones Mia Sheridan wrote.
but it's decent. I'm still halfway through..i'm also curious coz i just learned a few minutes ago that this is the best bookk for 2014 accdg to GR. :)
Annette wrote: "I am currently reading My Sister's Keeper"I read that book and it brought me to tears! It was that amazing! I hope you enjoy it!
I'm currently reading The Book of Lfe by Deborah Harkness; Ruby by Cynthia Bond ; Pinstripe Empire by Marty Appel; I Take you by Eliza Kennedy; Dead Wake and In the Garden of Beasts by Eric Larson and Happiness for Begnners by Katherine Center
I just finished

Finished This is Where I Leave You - good writing but I just could not get into it. Started The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry - as a former bookseller I'm really enjoying this one.

I finished Where She Went by Gayle Forman yesterday afternoon and it was amazing! I loved it so much! I am now reading Landline by Rainbow Rowell.
I just finished The Reckoning by Kelley Armstrong, now I'm in the mix of reading The Pact by Jodi Picoult, Midnight Sun by Stephenie Meyer and No Place Like Home by Mary Higgins Clark.
I have a few books going right now. I started The Children's Act by Ian McEwan; Carusoe's Daughter by Jane Gardan ; and Pinstripe Empire by Marty Appel. I finished Ruby -Oprahs latest selection and The Secrets of Midwives
I am just starting Deeper Than the Dead Tami Hoag.I am also reading a book that was given to me by the author. It is a batch of short stories called Einstein's Beach House: Stories by Jacob M Appel.
"A couple adopt a depressed hedgehog; a mother is seduced by the father of her daughter's imaginary friend; a man kidnap's his ex-wife's pet turtle. In eight tragicomic stories, Einstein's Beach House features ordinary men and women rising to life's extraordinary challenges."
I have finished
and
. I am still reading
and
. i have also started
. Sadly i won't get much reading done for the rest of the weekend. i have way too much hw to work on and i would much rather be doing reading. I really wish there was a way that i could read and do hw at the same time. ;(
I just finished Landline by Rainbow Rowell and now I'm about to start Bitten by Kelley Armstrong. :)
