It is moving quickly which politics rarely does. I don't know why Force is preparing Sam for first lady so soon. Sam will be a terrible first lady if Nick does become President or even Vice President. She doesn't have the personality for it. It really has me wonder a lot that won't be realistic at all.
His meteoric rise in the party has a lot to do with all the positive publicity he and Sam have received. Absolutely too much too soon.
I don’t see it as unrealistic as we’ve seen this before (Kennedy, Obama). What I do see as unrealistic is Sam keeping her job and being the First or Second Lady.

They both had a lot more experience in politics than he does.
I also cannot see Sam being both a detective and a First or Second Lady.
