i've wanted to get into because everyone always rlly loves it but they say you have to like read shadow and bone before you read like six of crows or something and I just don't know if I could get into it
I bought the whole entire Grishaverse. So once I’m done with HoO I’m going to start Shadow and Bone
Chronological order:
1. Shadow and bone trilogy - I felt it gets better as we progress to the third - the third was good
(this mainly was an introduction to a lot of the characters and to know the world better)
2. Six of Crows duology - this series is really cool- if you're into heists + fantasy sort of thing - this series felt much better the first for me
(it's fine whether or not you read without reading shadow and bone - but there are a few characters who would pop up later - and those characters - are really cool too) -
In my opinion- THE BEST OUT OF THE THREE HERE!
3. King of Scars - well, if you've read the other two - this one's definitely for you- and I felt it was really good as a conclusion story

Yeah-had the same problem (of starting with six of crows) since I'd started with shadow and bone which was an okay experience -which made me reluctant to start six of crows ... but once I got into it , it turned out to be much better than the first for me

I am just starting book 3 of Shadow and Bone and there was a noticeable improvement from book 1 to book 2 and I'm hoping that trend continues and they continue to improve because I have been wanting to read Six of Crows for quite a while now and am excited to be that much closer to getting to do so.
“Kaz leaned back. "What's the easiest way to steal a man's wallet?"
"Knife to the throat?" asked Inej.
"Gun to the back?" said Jesper.
"Poison in his cup?" suggested Nina.
"You're all horrible," said Matthias.”
