When it comes to reading, which holds greater importance to you: well-crafted characters but a less captivating plot, or poorly developed or one-dimensional characters accompanied by a gripping and exceptional plot?

I prefer a more plot-driven story (usually) but it should have a substantial amount of character -development or growth in it, else, I'd probably abandon it...
but, usually plot driven books I like are hard to find according to that particular time's mood and circumstance, I end up reading character-driven...

Edit: not really sure?

lowri (gcse hiatus) (laddamswilliamsgmailcom) Plot driven definitely but I have to like the characters

Anshika | 79 comments plot that drives characters. Does that make sense? it's like, i love, live, laugh for the plot but the plot should bring about substantial changes in the charcters, their arcs.

vivie♡ {hiatus} (ucymz9tq_kat6nzetrd1a-ag) Plot driven with good characters
But I will still read a book for the plot if the characters are a bit annoying
