Read-a-Long with PRICEISWONG discussion

Lets all discuss these TEN chapters below, but just these ten! Don't skip ahead! :) (Spoilers are welcome, this is a discussion after all!)

Although it has picked up I am liking where it is going less and less. The references to "the gift" are really driving me nuts especially with such little information about what it is.

I'm enjoying it so far but I think Rafe should be in the story a bit more

The story is really moving now, but I'm frustrated that we don't know what the gift is and why Lia's mom taught her to ignore it. I also want to know why the two books Lia stole are so important.

I'm really wondering about the gift, I wish we had more information about it. Also I wish Rafe would be more in this.
I feel like this book could easily be 100-200 pages shorter and easier to read. I found/find it really hard to get into the story sometimes.
