I seriously HATE the test week. It's just so draining and time consuming. I wish they would at least look at the schedules they're giving us and use logic to decide which subjects are on what day

Okay I have so much to rant. I am recently home schooled but omg I hated my school. Literally the school was so racist and horrible to girls. Like they made us have our shirt to be finger tip length so it can cover out butts. Like honestly seriously. It only matter if we were wearing leggings.

Oh and also there was this one teacher who was the most racist teacher to me. I am Asian and she was like during Covid. "Lon do you know that China started Covid." And all of that I wanted to punch her. She was the worst and had no filter with it.

🫂 Glad you like being homeschooled better. I was homeschooled for two years and I just couldn't do it (As I'm a VERY social person, and if I go a day w/o social interaction I literally cry), but homeschooling is awesome for those it helps!!

So I got invited to this program in Washington DC. Its invitation only. I would study homeland security, forensics and more. Old FBI agents and CIA agents have been there in the past. Only problem $6200. Like seriously you think we have that money and it being in such a short time. I have to let them know I am going by April 17th. So expensive so I have to turn down the opportunity

Can't fundraise. Its also kids from all over the country to go. (I am in the US for clarification.) Its 6200 for transportation, food and other stuff

Y'all, today I actually felt motivated to study and get some work done instead of procrastinating and going onto GR. But... my cat decides that the only place in the whole house that she wanted to be was on top of my books! Now I'm not motivated and I don't feel like doing anythinggg!!!😭😭😭😭

My cats are literally obsess with my work place! Sometimes it is cute sometimes it is just bad cause they shed. A LOT! And also three cats all on 1 desk claiming territory.... not really good idea.

Ya'll I have 4 tests out of 5 of my classes and I am freaking out!!!!! I don't know if I can do it. Like I really need these grades.

Thanks it just idk the pressure I guess. I know all the pressure is me telling myself to do good. My parents only care if I pass. Like tehy literally are like Idc if you get a C you are passing.

H I totally understand why you're feeling stressed out, I also have so many exams rn, but remember, you've got this! Take a deep breath, make a plan, and tackle each test one step at a time. You've worked hard, and I know u will do great! You've got this! ♥️♥️

i have a math exam monday and i don't understand half of the stuff 😭 i've been trying to do the homework for an hour and i just dot get it.

I would recommend talking to your teacher and see if you can stay after. I am horrible at math so I wouldn't be much help

not sure about the english terms but we're doing y=mx+b, y=a(x-h)²+k and all that stuff. i have a hard time with when there's a straight one and a round (?) one and you have to find where they touch eachother. Not sure that makes sense 😅

ohh wait I think I had this last year. I’m going to try my best!

1) you need to take the 2 so that they equal each other so:
mx+b = a(x-h)²+k

2) then you get rid of the parentheses () like this:
mx+b = a (x-h)(x-h)+k
mx+b = a (x²-xh-xh+h²)+k
mx+b = ax² - 2ahx + ah² + k

3) move everything to one side so that it equals 0:
mx+b - ax² + 2ahx - ah² - k = 0

4) i think usually a, h, k, m and b are given so you can calculate x

5) then fill what you calculated for x in one of the formulas at the start:
so if x was 5 then y=m5+b or y=a(5-h)²+k

6) so now you have x and y and those are the coordinates for where they touch.

Ohh I am kinda good at the "Y= mx+b"!! So "M" is the first letter of mountain, and a mountain has a slope, so that's how I remember that is the slope. The "b" is the Y-intercept! and ofc "x" is your variable! This is how I was taught to solve it:
So lets say the "m" is 3/1 and the b is positive 2!

1. Y=mx+b
2. Y=3x+2
3. Graph it!! So you would go to positve 2 on the Y axis and then go down 3 and to the right 1 (Always towards the right no matter what)!!

Y'all, I had a history test today and my hand was hurting for like an hour after the test because of all the writing😭 I filled 3 1/2 pages and I get to skip 2 questions since the test is in Dutch (not my first language). I feel bad for my teacher who has to grade it🤭
