Good to be back again here even though I would have love to be posting here regularly but there has been too much on my hands these days but I've got something for you today.

You really want to figure out how to sell more of your books and know what works and what sucks for getting your book out there and building your audience online?

I started from being a clueless author and blogger and I made bunch of mistakes along the line, learned lot of things and failed countless times and today, I know what is working and what is not working when it comes to selling books and building an author platform.

But saying this, won’t you ask me what will be my proof of knowing what works?

Every success story today started one day from nothing and in this video, I showed you what life as an author looks like back then and what I have right now.

From where I am now and where I was when I started my writing career, the only difference is having a platform.

As an author especially a new or unknown author, the number one problem you should tackle is not that of any other thing than solving the "obscurity" problem.

Right now, chances are that nobody knows who you are as well as what your books is all about and to get from that point of not being known to being known, you need to build yourself a platform that will make you more visible to your target audience.

There are lot of best-selling authors and writers who are making a living off what they do and if you ask many of them how that happened, you might get lot of varying advice like write more books, connect with your fans, write great books and the likes but one major thing many won't tell you is that there is a platform they've built over the years which is driving their success as an author.
