Everyman | 102 comments Egad. A three way tie for first, and if I were to vote for the Mad Hatter Mystery (I haven't voted yet) it would be a four way tie for first. I've never seen one of those before -- I'm tempted to vote for MHM just to see what Jean-Luke would do, but I don't care enough for Gideon Fell to buy it, so I won't. But if anybody else comes along who wants to, ...

I just read a different Gideon Fell & Carr's writing style isn't the best. But he certainly is a genius at creating locked room mysteries!

In looking over the Mad Hatter Mystery, I found that Carr had gone to Haverford College, which was the brother college to my alma mater, Bryn Mawr. That has nothing to do with the books but makes me a little fonder of him :)

I used to go over to dance at Bryn Mawr when I was living near Media. (That was before they built the Blue Route so it was a nice back roads drive.)

Now a four way tie! Do we have any more voters? :)
