The Fill Masjid App team has produced two short ebooks to help our children love their dīn, not just memorise facts for exams. I’d really appreciate some honest feedback from this community.1. Know Your Prophets: Bedtime Stories for 5–9 Year Olds
This is a collection of simple, gentle stories about the prophets mentioned in the Qur’an, written specifically as bedtime reads for children aged around 5–9. Each chapter is short enough for one sitting and uses mostly small, everyday words so kids can start reading along on their own. The focus is on:
Building love for Allah and His prophets
Teaching patience, kindness and gratitude through story, not lectures
Making Islamic bedtime stories a calm, cosy part of the night routine
2. The Path of the Caliphs: True Stories of the Khulafa-e-Rashideen for Young Readers
This ebook is aimed at slightly older children who are starting to ask deeper questions about history and role models. It shares true, age-appropriate stories from the lives of Abu Bakr, ‘Umar, ‘Uthmān and ‘Alī (raḍiyAllāhu ‘anhum) – their courage, justice, humility and service. The idea is to show them as real human beings our kids can look up to, not distant names from a textbook.
We’d love your thoughts on a few things:
Do your kids ask for Islamic stories at bedtime? What age are they?
Do you prefer ebooks, print books or simple PDFs on your phone?
What do you feel is missing from most Islamic children’s books you see today?
If the mods are okay with it, we can share the Amazon links in the comments, or you can simply type the names of the ebooks into the Amazon search bar.
We have just two requests:
Read with your kids; and
Share honest feedback and suggestions (and a short review if you find it beneficial) here and on Amazon.
The Fill Masjid App team seeks to create better tools for parents who are trying to raise children who love Allah, His prophets and the early generations of this Ummah.
Any feedback — positive, negative, detailed or blunt — is genuinely welcome.
JazākumAllāhu khayran for reading, and may Allah put barakah in all of your parenting journeys. 🤍

Ramadan Mubarak!!
I'm looking for islamic books on Kindle Unlimited and/or available as an eBook (on Kindle). I can read in Dutch/German/English.
Shukran!
