At first I was surprised she was charged, but with the scope of Mel's crimes it was hard for the cops to believe he didn't have help and to believe she didn't suspect or know anything.
I think it would be hard for anyone to believe that Gina didn't know what her husband was doing. He did some carpentry work and locked up the garage tight, so her and the kids never stepped into it. And there should have been the smell of blood and decay. I don't know how a person covers that up.
I was surprised that they’d tried her for conspiracy and murder since there wasn’t any evidence to support that other than it being incredible that she was unaware. The one thing that swayed me in her innocence was the fact that their small children lived in that house. That’s hard to imagine that they’d both be complicit around the children.
