this is where we are going to release the verse of the week every week 💕💕

Hey Yall! So it's Tuesday, I'm gonna go ahead and add a VOTW because we didn't launch at the beginning of the week..
Psalm 4:8 "In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety."
When the chaos that is life slows you down, take a moment to just breath in Gods presence. He wants to meet with you. The Bible tells us that what we pray/ask for, we will be given. Ask for that peace, that breath of fresh air, clearing of your mind, energy to keep going. He is the rock in the storm, the fallen tree in the mighty rushing river. He will provide you cover, he will protect you against what once had the power to hold you down. No longer are you suppressed by lack of energy, by chaos. Ask him for peace, for a break in the storm, and it will be provided to you. Mind you, when praying for this, don't pray once and be done with it. Take a moment, close your eyes, bow your head, take a breath or so, meet with him, ask UNTIL you receive. Our prayers should not be cowardly. Luke 6:38 “Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.”

This verse highlights the importance of selflessness in our lives. “Humility isn’t thinking less of yourself; it’s about thinking of yourself less.” Really dig into this, how can you put others needs before your own? Everything we are and everything we have the potential to be lies in Gods hands, let Him have control of it, there’s nothing you can do anyway. Surrender it to Him so you can stop thinking of what YOU need because you know He already has it covered. This way, you can focus on what other people might need.
