Lincoln Parish Library discussion

We are starting a new recommendation from our patrons.
I, Robin, have a program I started last year. LPL Journaling Club. We meet once a month, work on our journals, chat, enjoy a snack, meet new people and talk about books.



For journaling club and for me to get to expand my reading horizons, I am accepting recommendations from my patrons. It's called 12 books by 12 friends. I will read a recommendation, one book a month, from you and post about it.

January 2024:
I didn't get my first recommendation until the very end of January, it was into the month of February that I finished. My first book was
A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas.
It was recommended to me by Megan. I was not going to get into that series, but I'm glad I did. It did start off slow, but it was a really good book. I will definitely finish that series soon.

February 2024:
Black Candle Women by Diane Marie Brown.
It was recommended to me from Jeremy. It was a good one and I highly recommend that one to anyone who likes to read witchy books.

March 2024:
One Night Years Ago by J.R. Pace
It was recommended to me by Amanda. I'm still reading it and hope to get it finished by the end of the month.

For April 2024:
All Systems Red by Martha Wells.
It was recommended to me by Lillian. It fits with the Monthly Reading Challenge for April. I will let you know what I thought about it once I get it read.
