Personality: Jasper grew up in the quarry with just his dad, so he's usually very brusque and blunt. He calls things like he sees them, and doesn't know fully how to form attachments. That's mainly because in the quarry, friends come and go, either because they die from the labor or are moved somewhere else. Jasper does want friends, though.
History: Jasper's mother died from an unknown sickness that was likely caused from the quarry when he was eight. Because of this, he hasn't really had a maternal influence in his life. He doesn't fully understand emotions, but he wants to. He grew up watching the games and actually thought they would bring him glory, which is why he became a Career. He's been training, with his father's approval, to try to win this year.

Personality: Sweet, quiet, trust issues. Skye isn't one to resort to violence, and doesn't speak much. She is also a generally positive person, and has an optimistic look at things.
History: Skye lived with her father and younger siblings in a small house in district 6. She is the oldest in her family, and has a nurturing nature because of this. Her father was a rebel, in some sense, because of the poorness of the district. While it wasn't that bad, they aren't paid what they should be. Her father, as a result, trained Skye with the sword in case she would ever have to go into the hunger games. He hates the entire thing, and they never watched it. He would always turn the T.V off. Now, she is participating, to her father's horror.

History

Alice grew up in a wealthy upper-class home in District 8 with her 2 older brothers and her loving parents. One day when Alice was four, her mom went to the Capitol, while there, Alice witnessed her father die at home. When Alice's mother returned, she grieved and distanced herself from her kids (especially Alice). Because of the loss of her dad, Alice became slightly crazy and wild. After being distanced from her mom, Alice became lonely and always cried. Alice was reaped for the Hunger Games and nobody saw Alice leave for the Capitol.
