I tried reading it, but I stopped cause it's kinda boring

I’ve never tried but I’m thinking about it

I admit, I haven’t finished it yet, but it’s been interesting. I think it depends on what you like to read about. If you enjoy reading about seafaring and if you don’t mind the whaling stuff, you might like it. It’s not a hard read, just tedious at times.

I loved it, it is a long read but absolutely brilliant and beautiful, one of my favourite books.

I’m about a third done right now actually! Definitely a hefty task but Melville’s prose is so big/bright/Shakespearean and it actually reads fairly quick
