Eleven | 577 comments A - Any tattoos/body mods: scarification tattoo brand on my right lower arm
B - Best movie ever: The Godfather 1 & 2
C - Cat or dog: dogs all the way
D - Do you like dancing: Sure. To my own tune. I love jumping around at concerts and parties, I don't care how I look like. Not into slow dancing or formal dancing.
E - Essential start your day item: copious amounts of cold water splashed all over my face in a failed attempt to wake up
F - Favorite author: Susan Fanetti
G - Gold or silver: silver. Can't stand gold.
H - How often do you remember your dreams: didn't remember almost any dream in years. I used to remember vividly colorful dreams each morning, but it kind of tapered down with years. Unfortunately, kind of the same as with any daydreams I used to have.
I - Instruments you play: bass guitar, both electric and acoustic
J - Jewelry you (almost) never take off: wedding band (silver), another commemorative ring I wear on other hand (also silver) and Tuareg wide cuff silver bracelet
K - Kitchen utensil you use the most: spoon (I make matcha tea all the time)
L - Large yard or a penthouse apartment: large yard, no need to think about it
M - Most overused word/phrase: depends. If things are going as they should, it's "well...." followed by whatever I need to say. If I'm angry and things don't work as they should, it's "f*ck"
N - Newest thing you bought: actually, a gun. I already wrote new socks, and then I remembered Shadow 2 sitting in my safe
O - On the back of his bike, but which kind: Harley, or some kind of old school chopper
P - Plug in your socials (bookstagrams, tiktoks...): unfortunately too old(fashioned) to have any of those. Hope you don't hold it against me :-).
Q - Quote you like: there is one really long about outlaws by Tom Robbins from Still Life With Woodpecker that I found recently and am currently obsessing about, you can find it among my quotes on here.
R - Right or left handed: right
S - Sport you love to watch: none at the moment, used to watch skiing and football
T - Time you woke up today: I've got weird sleeping schedule lately, so I should ask, which time :-). Usually I take short naps for an hour or two.
U - Unique thing about you: in a world this big, I don't believe three is anything truly unique left. Probably not unique but perhaps a bit interesting is that I used to be on a real rock/heavy metal tour involving multiple bands once upon a time.
V - Vacation of your dreams: just peace and quiet and nature and my husband to share it all with, of course
W - What inspired you to start reading MC books: got myself a Kindle. Started spending outrageous amounts of money on books. Discovered free books. Mostly romances. Naturally scrolled towards the kind of guys I like IRL.
X - X-ray of your nightstand top drawer would show: condoms, lube, knife, wallet, Ray Ban's, several rings and a Kindle cover (Kindle being somewhere with me, of course).
Y - Your favorite band/musician: at the moment I'm listening to Zach Bryan the most, but that changes practically daily
Z - Zen activity: reading (ha, no surprise there :-))

That's why I always dance like no one's watching LOL.
Had to check on H.D. Carlton now, can't believe I haven't read anything by her yet.
I considered getting a piercing many times, but seen too many of them get torn off in fights and accidents in order to go on and do it. Perhaps I'll do it in my old age, something to look forward to :-).
Hope you get that vacation soon.

H.D. is a dark romance writer so if you’re not into that, I wouldn’t recommend haha.
I’m suppose to be going to Cali this year to get eloped (hoping that goes to plan!)

There's nothing too dark for me, so that won't be a problem :-).
You're eloping? Wow, congrats will be in order soon then, great, keep me posted, I wanna live vicariously through you, that's so exciting :-).
As for responding with comment quoted, I assume you're on your phone or something, in which case I have no idea. I'm on the computer, and it has tiny 'reply' icon under each comment.

B - Best movie ever: Quite a few in my 64 years. Too many to list.

D - Do you like dancing: Love to dance. Used to go out and dance and dance with friends spontaneously in various places. Grocery stores, our auction, fairs etc. When the mood hits the hips have a mind of their own. Though the body gets tired quickly and it doesn't last as long nor as 'Vigorous' as they used to be.

E - Essential start your day item: Coffee and the Porcelain Throne. Gotta empty the bladder!

F - Favorite author: Have a few. Nikki Sex, J.T. Geissinger, Trisha Wolfe, Suzanne Wright & about a hundred others 🤣Depends on the series and my mood at any given time.

H - How often do you remember your dreams: Used to remember them all. Now I barely remember anything.

I - Instruments you play: 🤣My Mouth! It's an instrument of Destruction! 🤣🤣

J - Jewelry you (almost) never take off: I take everything off. Can't sleep with anything on.

K - Kitchen utensil you use the most: My Husband. He cooks I clean.

L - Large yard or a penthouse apartment: Yard, But the yard is small.

M - Most overused word/phrase: I Don't Give A Fuck & What The Fuck. Often accompanied with Fuck You

N - Newest thing you bought: Loose Leaf Tea or maybe a dress.

O - On the back of his bike, but which kind: All bikes are gone. But I prefer an Indian over Harley. Like Harley's LOVE Indians

W - What inspired you to start reading MC books: Hmm. Life and my insatiable need for ACTION

X - X-ray of your nightstand top drawer would show: At night, Tissues, bottle of water, tums, phone, glasses and lamp.
Boy has that changed over the decades!

Z - Zen activity: Drinking my tea & reading

Just a mention since it's not in here.
1 of my top favorite comedians throughout my 64 years is

Wow this made me laugh and find so many good things all at the same time.
I'm insane. And I like it. Should be printed on T-shirts, I'd wear one. Or two, And I'd like it.

Great taste in music. Some bands I haven't heard anybody but me mention for a while. Love love love Dr Hook, crazy bastards the lot of them, all their vids are so much fun. Moody Blues, Fleetwood Mac and Lynyrd Skynyrd also among my all time favorites.

Old Indians are cool, new ones are good but I don't like the look.

Silver and copper is great contrast for jewelry and I love it too.

"Used to remember them all. Now I barely remember anything." is how I often feel and another great quote.

You sure know how to use your husband well :-).

I already despaired over not having any books by your favorite authors and then I located 'The Mercury pack' on my Kindle. Going to the top of my TBR list now :-).

Oh! I love that idea. I don't wear t-shirts though. The neck makes me feel like I'm being choked. I switched to dresses only a few years ago. Makes it easy to cool down the crotch in the summer! Make my own breezes by flapping the hem of the dress 🤭
So, need a v neck t-shirt dress made with that on it!

Thank you. I love music. Not big on County.
Rock is my main.
Though I do like Bluegrass too.
I'm sure you've heard of Tracy Chapman. Way back when I was in my early 20's we called that 'Underground Music'
Loved that. You had to tune in a special channel to hear it.
Don't know what they call it now of days.
Or if there even is 'Underground' music anymore.

Yes but even the New Harley's have that same problem.
But I must confess I love the new 'Amenities' to the new bikes.
No way could you listen to music 'Back in The Day' when you were on a bike.
What I miss is that surge of adrenaline when you took a corner LOW & sometimes I swear I could feel the rode brush my leg.
You were either going to make that turn of become a part of the road.

He kicked me out of the kitchen our FIRST night in our FIRST apartment.
I was trying to make spaghetti. He walked in and asked me where the meat was.
I told him in the sauce. It said so on the jar.
The look on his face was Priceless!
He took over cooking and I gained 20 pounds!

Love Tracy Chapman. My all time favorite by her is Talkin' bout a revolution.
Not into mainstream country (that twangy stuff singing about heartbreak and driving trucks) either, but I do listen to what they call alt country, acoustic stuff and bluegrass, also some indie stuff, which is all a recent addition for me, I used to be all about rock, hard rock and metal. Then I mellowed out with age.

Have you seen Tracy Chapman and Luke Combs Fast Car duet for Grammys?

Easy solution - I also don't like the choking sensation on T-shirts, so I either wear Steve's (which are big as dresses for me, plus he stretched the neck additionally), or I take the scissors to the opening and make a V-neck out of them.
And yes, I discovered the beauty of dresses in the summer recently as well (at about the same time I mellowed out with music, I also abandoned my strict "tough metal chick" look and boy oh boy was it a relief getting out of those tight black leather pants and tight black denim in the heat - what was I thinking? How I didn't die of heatstroke? Only the miracle saved me...

My favorite series by Suzanne Wright is her Dark in You. But she has a new series that I've only gotten to read the 1st book of & I think it tops her Dark in you Series.
It's called Devil's Cradle Series & I LOVED it!
Trisha Wolfe writes dark serial killer romance 🤣 Sort of.

Exactly!
We do a lot of Outdoor events in the summer. One day I just flat out got tired of PEELING my jeans and panties down then back up after using a porta potty. AND trying to make sure they didn't touch the floor of the porta potty.
Started wearing dresses only and have NEVER looked back.
If it's super cold in the winter I will add leggings to the dress.
In the summer I wear flipflops but I refuse to give up my boots in the Fall, Winter and any cool enough day that I can wear them.
Though they don't have the heels I used to wear.
Love the look, but my feet Protest!

Hey, we look the same - I'm wearing my boots too every day of the year, except when it's completely too hot. Then I'm in Birkenstocks.

I was 45 when it hit.
So you're really going through those super awful hot flashes that makes it feel like your hair follicles are melting into your brain.

They told me the hot flashes would only last a few years.
They LIED!

Like your hair is melting into your brain is a good description.

Mine started when I was 44 and it is already much more tolerable than it used to be. It didn't go away but it is less frequent and less intense (usually). Still have some brutal ones but they got much rarer.

I've invested tons of money into cooling pillows, pillowcases, sheets and cooling towels.
I wouldn't be able to sleep without them.
My husband HATES the cooling sheets but I use them in the summer. Otherwise I'd have the AC set to 60 and he would really bitch then!

The heater is on for my husband & I have a thermostat sitting by my chair so I can know if it's me or not.
