Scifi-Fantasy book club discussion

I so enjoyed finally reading this novel!

The plight of the "Savage" once he arrives at the Brave New World was heartbreaking, both for him and to see just how brainwashed (and drugged) these people are. It was interesting to finally see the man behind the curtain, if you will, and to see the mindset behind how the society is constructed. I was reminded of both The Giver and the concept of "bread and circuses". The ending was absolute chaos- almost King Kong-esque for me. I feel like I need to reread the last chapter to fully understand all that went on.

This was my first Huxley and I look forward to reading more from him in the future- his writing and pacing were so compelling!
