What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

read this at my old schools library when I was under the age of 16, I remember the girl would sneak out of her home for escapism and that's where she found the boy outdoors in a setting sort of like a forest (?)

,not sure if a spoiler warning is necessary but spoilers ahead,

I remember him saying towards the end how he wasn't going to stay for that long and he had actually ran away from home, he stayed longer because of her and before he left - he gave her the bracelet so she can remember him every time she looks at it. It's been so long I sadly don't remember the names but this book meant a lot to me and I've been looking for it for years.

Were both characters teenagers?

Kinda reminds me of Under the Watsons' Porch, but it's probably too young.

Both characters were young yes, somewhere between 14-16 id say...
