The Shining discussion

For the Stephen King lovers out there. What is your favorite Stephen King book and why?

The Shining. If I had to venture a guess as to which of his many books might go the distance and last for centuries, this would be the one. The characters are deeply drawn, the setting is eerily perfect, while the themes about family, parenting, and even addiction, are universal and timeless.

I loved The Shining as well. Cujo was another I liked. Pet Semetary was a good read as well. It is a classic imo. There’s so many to love, it’s impossible to choose 1 favorite 🥰

I'm not much of a King fan as far as novels go. He seems to have a solid idea but then loses his way and has no reasonable ending. That being said, he is a wonderful writer of short stories.
