I have only read one book by Danielle Steel, many years ago (in the early eighties I think); Ring. I recall that it was very enjoyable at the time, but is not my usual genre. I have not considered another book by her since, but maybe I should reconsider!

i still haven't read any of her books. but im trying to branch out into other genres, so I am tempted to read some of her books. im just not sure which book to start with. so I am looking at reviews and recommendations to see which one to pick up first as I am not sure if they are stand alone books or not
