Harold and the Purple Crayon question

This is not about "Harold and the Purple Crayon," Goodreads just made me choose a book, but the point is I don't know the name of this book so...

It's about a kid who draws things in red pencil (crayon??) that become real. Eventually, this kid has to tape many pieces of paper together to have enough space to draw on. I think he eventually draws a red fire truck that becomes real.

I haven't been able to find this book anywhere, and it doesn't really matter, but it's been bugging me like crazy!
