Turned or Born: Belle was born a a domestic guinea pig, but before she was born, her mother escaped and met a wild guinea pig. This was Belle's father, of course. Belle was attacked by a shapeshifter when she was very young. She was transformed into a human, and later realized she could transform back and forth
