Star Wars Book Club discussion

How's everyone liking The Living Force?

I'm liking it well enough, though it kind of feels like a High Republic novel set in the Prequels era.

I thought it was good. Wish they would have tied in that some of the Jedi were present during the high republic and They had seen pirates attack the outer rim in the past though.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book. Some of the Jedi-interaction moments, either between other Jedi on the council or with the citizens of Kwenn, all felt very fun to me. It felt like I was reading a couple-episode-arc of The Clone Wars. Yareal Poof and Ki-Adi Mundi stood out to me in the humor department and Yoda, Yaddle, and Qui-Gon stood out to me in the wisdom department LOL. Depa and Mace’s story wasn’t as gripping as I anticipated, but I still enjoyed the overall conclusion and battle. I would’ve also enjoyed more HR connections, but overall this one was a hit for me!
