Play Book Tag discussion

Well, I liked most of the basics of this story but got a little lost in the mythology. This is something that is common in myth character based stories for me. I am never sure how much of the back story is “true” to classic mythology and how much is reinterpreting for story sake. So I end up taking it all as fantasy. Often, gods or myth characters have the same names and different skills or characteristics in different works of fiction.

So side-stepping the myth, the plot was fine if simplistic. Hero was too manipulative and prejudice for true hero until well into the story. Heroine was a bit go with the flow. I guess I’ll have to read another in the series to see if it gets better.
