First book recommendation from me is .....
The Family Across The Street by Nicole Trope. It is a psychological thriller book. This book was very interesting with how it was written. I loved how many points of views there were and it kept me guessing to the very end.

Book Recommendation:
Hi guys! My first book recommendation for you would definitely have to be The Spanish Love Deception by Elena Armas. It’s a romantic-comedy book with an enemies to lovers trope and it’s a bit of a slow-burn but I think it’s worth the wait. This is one of my favorites and it’s such a good read for anyone. If you’re interested you can find the book quicker in the group bookshelf “to read” section on a laptop or computer <3

If anyone has or is going to read A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder series by Holly Jackson I really recommend it. This was definitely the series that got me into thriller. When you finish the series reach out in the discussion section in group to tell me how you liked it. I would love to hear about what anyone else thought about the characters and the story itself.

I just read 'The Kiss Thief' by L.J Shen - soooo good! If you're looking for a romance, age-gap, with Mafia and the government, enemies to lovers it's right up your alley.

Bryana The inheritance games was one of my favourites. Overall it was very interesting. There is a love triangle involved as well.

Jenna | 4 comments Hello everyone, thank you for letting me join. I can't wait to read people's recommendations and find new titles I might otherwise have missed. I wanted to share with you my latest obsession (I'm now beginning my third read) because I'd love to have more people to talk about it with! It's a new book called King Street Run by VR Ling. I bought it as an ebook initially but liked it so much that I got the paperback last month. It's a fantasy thriller and revolves around a student at Cambridge who meets some unusual people who turn out to be personifications of the colleges. I can't big this book up enough. I don't want to give too much away but it's FULL of easter eggs and that's something I absolutely love. Some are connected to character names, no character is what they seem, there are little things like the book titles of m.R James hidden in the text (I've found five but a friend tells me he's found seven) and that's because the main character loves m.r James, the use of latin in certain places is really clever because when you google it you find out it means something else and it gives another layer to the story, there's loads of double meaning. The more I dig, the more I'm finding little things. On top of that and perhaps most importantly though it's a great story and really well written. The colleges are the kind of characters that you desperately want to be real people and some of their conversations (especially between John and Trinity) you can imagine really taking place. There's funny bits, but it's not laugh out loud funny, it's more a dry type of humour, socially observant with some brilliant turns of phrase. I really associated with the main character who is called Thomas and is forever saying "thank you". I think I'm becoming obsessed :-D I'm trying to convince my friend to go to Cambridge with me so that we can find all the portals and places in the story!

Fantasy thrillers are the best - and if they have a gothic setting then it's even better!

Hunter H. | 1 comments Treasures of the Lochs
This is suspenseful YA Christian fiction, involving a modern-day treasure hunt in Scotland, with a bit of supernatural thrown in. Blending historical fact and Scottish legend within an action-packed adventure, Treasures of the Lochs is a powerful story of faith, friendship, and redemption. The target audience is teenage and above (some parts would be too intense for younger readers). This book is a 2024 NIEA Finalist in Religion Fiction. It also hit Amazon#1 New Release for Christian Fantasy. I hope you’ll check it out.
