The ISBN is always the primary identier of a book edition, for that exact reason: it can't be changed.
The edition you found had incorrect data because it was auto-imported from Amazon, and that process doesn't always go well.
The book was not pointing to the right author because in Amazon the author is listed as Hannah whitten and here in GR she is listed as Hannah F. Whitten.
The book had an italian description, being a spanish version, because it was imported without description, so it took the default description, which was the one from the italian version.
Also it wasn't added to the series because the series is linked to the author, and it was imported to a different author.
These aren't reasons to say the edition was wrong, it just needed the details corrected. It would be wrong if it was imported with a wrong ISBN or ASIN (sometimes that happens too).
By creating a new edition, you created a duplicate, because there was already a reord in GR for that edition.
What you should have done should be asking for the details to be corrected by a librarian. Or asking for the book record to be moved into yoiur profile, and then you could correct the details yourself.
I merged both editions, deleting the one you created.
And combined it with the remaining editions:

I've seen this page was created with incorrect information (wrong link to the author's profile, Italian info in the Spanish edition, series information not added...). I've added a new one with the correct information (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2..., might not show yet), but I can't use the ISBN because it's already been used on the other page. Can you please merge the information on both pages so the book can be easier to find when browsing?
Thanks.
