"What an endearment!" Her sister was 15. She flipped over, landing on her feet, and forcing Amity to scooch over as she sat beside her.

Amity sighed but obliged.
'So. The palace, huh?" Amity had no clue what she was on about, "Did you pack yet? Maybe you should borrow a NICE dress or two of mine. God knows your are all torn."
"What are you talking about, clair! Your interrupting my reading time."
Clair looked at her older sister and gawped.
She didnt know yet. Oh dear.
"Right. well. Ill leave you too it then" She smiled sweetly and left her sister under the stairs.

Bam!
Wood of the stairs was hit, and her MOTHERS head swings down now.
"Found you."
"OH COME ON!"
Her mother rises, and pad's her way down the stairs, crouching in front of Amity.
"Brace yourself, dear, this is huge."
"I am NOT working with the robinsons! Their son is creepy" She huffed and crossed her arms
Her mother waved a hand, dismissive of her daughters comment. Their son was a sweetheart but that didnt matter anymore.
Her mother held up an invitation paper.
"What? Another ball? Can I sit this one out? You know how I have two left feet, I might hurt someone."

Amity sighed and straightend the letter as she read.
Her heart stopped.
Her mother smiled brightly.
Amity then went down a list f Pros and cons all while processing such news.
I'M invited to the PALACE in chance of being chosen as a BRIDE.
This both fascinates and repulses me.
Fuck, what to do . . . how to feel? AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
Okay okay, The invitation says its mandatory. Okay. Hm.
Her mother reached for amity and grabbed hold of her arms, pulling her from under the stairs.
"There's no time to contemplate now, we have to pack!!!!"
"Y-you guys are c-coming?" Amity was in shock and choked up.
"Ofcourse not, we arent the ones who were invited, love."
Her mother dragged her all the way up to her room. Amity could only focus on her heart beat.
This was a Massive change . . .

Its sundown and Amity is only half packed. the invitation was clear when she would be taken to the palace.
She looked around her room at clothes thrown all across the floors and furniture.
She sighed an overwhelming breath. Woah. She still didnt know how to feel about it all.
She would be able to experience a Palace!
But she could also end up married. At 17. Responsibilities.
Oh god was she ready for that? She turned to her window.
There was still so much she hadnt done.
She hadnt stolen a horse. Practice archery in a woods she wasnt allowed in.
She hadnt experienced a sunrise on a mountain. She wanted life. She wanted all the little things.
Was she ready for all the big things of royalty? She knew it was a small chance SHE would be chosen amongst other girls. more sophisticated girls. A prince wouldnt want a reck like herself. But SHE didnt want a royal like a prince either!

Ugh. To hell with it.
Amity knew she couldnt avoid this, but she needed time. She didnt know when she'd receive another adventure opportunity.
She grabbed a sweater and headed for her window.
She wouldnt be there when her mother came to see if she was packed.
(AND SCENE!!)
Amity snickered as she hid under the stairs. She had a book in her hand. She planned to avoid her mother all day. She wasnt ure exactly what her mother was so urgently tipped about, but she did NOT want to find out. She knew eventually she wouldnt have a choice, but she would stall as long as she could.
Brown hair wipped over her face, from over the stairs. "Found ya'."
"BAH!" Amity was startled, and pushed back her younger sisters face. She was hanging over the stairs. Amity regretted teaching her that trick.
