We don't seem to have a discussion for this so I'll start with one I heard of that sounds like a wild ride. Ian Fleming: The Complete Man is a pretty comprehensive-sounding bio of the man who created James Bond, and just reading an abstract of this guy's life mads me want to read it. He's had a life with all kinds of ups and downs, career changes through everything from banking to espionage, an unhappy marriage, a privileged upbringing with lots of disgraces sprinkled among his many accomplishments. I can't see this story dragging!

We did have a discussion thread before but its way down on the list. Last time someone posted was Feb. 2022. Thanks for starting this one.

You'll See: A Story of Narcissistic Abuse, Survival, and My Journey to Understand by Suzanne Groves.
Walk Ride Paddle: A Life Outside by Tim Kaine. If the name sounds familiar, he was Hillary Clinton's vice presidential selection in the 2016 election.
Lies My My Mirror Told Me by Wendy HarmerIt starts with a great opening line. Just bought it yesterday so haven’t read it yet though. The author is born with facial disfigurement and goes on to be a great success.
I just learned about one written by my cousin-in-law's uncle that looks interesting. Freedom and Despair: Notes from the South Hebron Hills I'm not sure how much is memoir and how much is other thoughts.

This was a very delightful book about her family experiences and of her domestic mayhems. I have never heard of her before but she has written several books and I am looking forward to reading more of her. Biography

Hi, you're not accepting messages, so I wanted to tell you that your memoir is showing on the wrong author page. You don't have an author page, so once the change I've made takes effect, you can go and claim your own, which is what you should do. If you publish any more books, they have to have the correct number of spaces in between your first and last name when you put in the author because there are several Hanna Martins who are authors; some publish in different languages. Since your own page says your memoir is your debut book, I know those aren't you. I'll be back to post your author page for you to claim.
Hanna, here's your new author page, so please claim it so someone else can't add anything about you you don't want. It's always better to have an author page with something about you. If you claim it, it may well link to your page which would be best :)https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...
