Iva Dimitrova (httpswwwfacebookcomid524) | 5 comments Hello! How long books do you prefer to read? Would you start reading/be interested in a 600 page book by a new self-published author on Amazon? Or would you prefer to read it in two parts - the book being split in two and sold as such.

The thing is, I have a 600 page book, but I'm worried about how well it would attract readers with that volume. What do you think? Note that this will be the first book I am publishing on Amazon.
Can I split the book into two parts? This means that the reader must pick up book 2 to find out the continuation of the story and the denouement.
Can you give me examples of successful books divided into two parts. If the admins allow links too, because I'm looking and can't find it.

Thanks in advance!

So with that if it was split in half so 300 pages it is less nerve racking for the person reading it if they aren't a big reader. In my opinion I would say 2 personally but you should get others opinions and then majority is what you should do.

I found this link with someone asking a similar question and people replied

Me too! if its in a scene try to think what you would like to happen next if you were in the story and if its after thats when I get stuck you should think of your fav scenes from books you've read and do something like that.

If I get REALLY stuck I show chatgpt my story and see what ideas it has for the next part and I end up reading it then I get a better idea with maybe a part or a line someone says.

YAYYYY!!

Jazz-Star (Connie's Version) I'm currently writing my first book, and I made it to chapter two real easily, but now that I'm at the beginning of chapter two, I can't figure out how to write what I have in my head, and I kinda have writers block. Also, for anyone who needs a place to self-publish their book, Barnes and Noble has a thing called Barnes and Noble press where you can do so. You can have it published as and ebook, or a printed book. For printed books you can choose paper and such like that, what kind of book you want it printed as (paperback or hardcover), for paperback you can choose your covers finnish, and for hardcover you can choose if it has a dust jacket or want the cover printed on it, and for any of the printed books (I think) you can choose what size the book is.

I write a magical realism/steampunk/mystery series that seems to have the most social media success on Fb and Inst. I use Meta Business to post both at the same time.

I've been writing pretty much my entire life (There have been times when I briefly lost interest but there has always been something that drew me back, the time needed will always find a way.

Diana | 95 comments Hi everyone! I've been wanting to write a book, but I feel like everything I write is super plain and boring. Then when I try and write something cool, it comes out sounding cringey. Does anyone have advice on how I can write engaging, entertaining lines that aren't cringe?

message 26: by Diana (new)

Diana | 95 comments For example:
"I've decided to make him cupcakes." I told my friend.
I prepared all my equipment to start.
I'm kneading the dough when someone knocks on the door.
This sounds sooo boring. How can I make this better?

I've always found that the best lines should be read out loud to assess what each sounds like.

Hi everyone. I’m so excited to share that my first book “Tudor Dynasty: an Introduction” will come out within weeks! If there’s anyone to read, it is an introduction book to explore Tudor Dynasty, its rulers and their reigns. It about 100 pages. Anyone who wonders can comment and I will share an e-book copy with you. ❤️
