Good afternoon friends and happy May Day!Just thought I’d pop in here to mention the Jane Austen Literacy Foundation. It was founded by Caroline Jane Knight, Jane Austen’s several times great niece. Here’s a link to the website:

There’s a monthly newsletter/article called Pride and Possibilities, a YouTube channel and a monthly Reading Challenge amongst other things. You can register with them for free but if you want to support the Foundation financially, you can also pay for a monthly membership at two different levels (and costs) which gain more benefits. They’re also on Patreon. When you take part in the monthly Reading Challenge, you get a free downloadable and printable bookmark with a Jane Austen theme at the end of that month. I’ve only just discovered the Reading Challenge; April was my first month.

Abigail Reynolds' latest book Spellbound at Pemberley is marked down to $2.49.This is Book 1 of a Trilogy.
A trilogy? She is really getting into it. I thought it was going to be a duology by the time it was published.I got the paperback and both my parents loved it. Now they are waiting for book 2!
The blurb says trilogy but she may have changed her plan.Just wanted people to know the story is incomplete at this time.
I see. Guess she has developed the story so much it became a trilogy. That's awesome!

Only for intrepid readers I think. It's been a while and I only skimmed it but IIRC Darcy was pretty bad in bed while Lydia and Wicky did whatever with whomever, and offered to help Lizzy spice it up.I thought it was a shame because the author had some clever phrases and could have come up with an entertaining story but the sordid subject matter put me off their books
if Lizzy didn't bring some VD home it was just dumb luck

Did you look at all his books? Mine shows about half of them are free to listen to. I've been listening to In Default of Heirs Male.
