Sorry all, I’m recovering from elbow surgery last week, so I rarely know what day it is.

Welcome to May Buddy Picks

If you wish to have a buddy choose a book from your SBC bookshelf, please comment below with the amount of books you wish to have picked out for you.

I will pair you with your Buddy using Random.org on May 2nd if enough have signed up by then.

Yes - Tracey! Sharon picked an excellent book for me!

Finished my buddy pick (lots of reading time while recovering from elbow surgery). It was a solid 4 stars and I’m glad I finally read it. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is that it was a hard read - so twisted and convoluted that I had to really concentrate to keep track of all the story threads. I will say the author is a genius at taking a children’s classic book and morphing into almost a completely new story. Quite the imagination!! That being said, I don’t think I’ll continue the series - I have lots of library books to catch up on!

I finished it just in time Jenny! It was going to be a 5 star read but the introduction of a romance meant it was a 4 star read overall. Can we sign up for June yet Sharon? How's the recovery going?
