I read this book in Year 6 and found it to be one of the most memorable books I’ve read to date. The details of how her life was during the holocaust was touching and at the age of 11 it was hard to imagine that life being many people’s realities. Having had extracts of Young Anne’s diary integrated within the book made it easier to read as a child because the words were not so unfamiliar and were able to be decoded in context. Despite being an emotional read, I found this book super interesting and would recommend to anyone who wants to find out more about life during the holocaust.

I also agree, because I think that remembering her and all the victims of the Holocaust is very important. We cannot forget this piece of history, we have to learn from it to prevent it from repeating. In my opinion she has wrote an amazing diary and I find it comforting knowing that Anne wanted to become a famous writer and wanted to publish her diary After her death. And that her dream came reality. Rest in piece Anne ❤️
