Wow, look at this latest discovery "Burial site revealed to be older than Stonehenge" (from the BBC' s website).
Flagstones is partly beneath the Dorchester bypass, and partly beneath Max Gate, Thomas Hardy's home. One of the poems we read in depth is about the prehistoric stones (if anyone can remember the title!)
Now it's thought to date from about 3,200BC, or about two centuries earlier than previously thought, and could even have been a template for Stonehenge! 😲

Jane led that poem so well for us, even including a photo of Thomas Hardy and the "Druid stone". It's such a shame she seems to have disappeared from GR. I've just messaged her again.
