Hi! What is the theme going to be?
My advice is to explore different words, rhythms, and rhymes.
Maybe, see writing a poem like a painting.
You decide the colors that set the right tone and feelings. Play around with "your paintbrush" until you feel like you have expressed what you want.
You could be painting (writing) a surreal painting, a portrait, a landscape painting, or something else entirely :) 🎨✏️🖼️

when i write poems i like to incorporate my/others feelings! also i tend to incorporate nature a lot! hope this helped <3

Don’t listen to what others criticize. Especially if they don’t “get” poetry. Not everyone has a deep understanding of it. Don’t take advice from people that never got where you are going. 💖
