Rule #5: Each member may nominate one series.
However, since the Green Bone Saga by Fonda Lee is disqualified (Rule #4: The series must not be one the group has already read.), I will accept your nomination of The Founders Trilogy by Robert Jackson Bennett.

Since Maggie already nominated this, would you like to nominate a different series? Or were you just chiming in with support for her nomination?

The Fionavar Tapestry by Guy Gavriel Kay, there are 3 books in the series, and the first book is The Summer Tree.
I would like to nominate The Greatcoats series by Sebastien de Castell. It is a four book series which starts with Traitor's Blade.
This is so hard, you all have already read a lot of series that are on my TBR!Hopefully I did not oversee it but I would nominate Farseer Trilogy from Robin Hobb (so first Trilogy of the Realm of the Elderlings)

Welcome to the group! Unfortunately, I have to disqualify your nomination because the group did read the Farseer Trilogy back in 2011.
Please feel free to nominate something else. You can see a list of all the series we have already read by going to the Bookshelf and looking down the left side of the page.

I recommend The Song of the Lioness by Tamora Pierce. There are four books in the series, first being Alanna: The First Adventure. I know it's marked as YA, but I am a middle-aged woman and I enjoyed the first book very much. I'm going to suggest it next time, if no-one does it before :-D
You could also suggest Sue Lynn Tan's Celestial Kingdom series, Bartimaeus by Jonathan Stroud, Elantris by Sanderson, or Phèdre's Trilogy. As far as I can see, those have not been suggested yet.

I’m going to nominate the Second Sons trilogy by Jennifer Fallon, 3 books starting with Lion of Senet. I have several books by her on my shelf that I’ve never read, so I thought this might give me the push I need to give her a try. All 3 books seem pretty highly rated here and on Amazon.
Then I would nominate Michael R. Miller - the Dragon's Blade trilogy. I only heard good things about it, though have not yet started it. :)

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I just finished the most recent book of Songs of Chaos and have it queued up to read in the next month or two.
Thanks for all the great nominations. The preliminary poll is now open and will remain open through May 24. This will narrow our choices to the top 2, and then another poll will be held to make the final choice for our next series.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Rules for nominating a series:
1. The series must be complete (as far as we can reasonably tell).
2. The series must be fantasy (I know, seems obvious).
3. The series should not be targeted mainly for middle school or a YA audience.
4. The series must not be one the group has already read. Look through the list of discussions or the group bookshelf to see if we’ve read it before.
5. Each member may nominate one series. Please tell us the name of the series, the author, how many books are in the series, and the name of first book in the series. If you want to add more information, please feel free.
6. Nominations do not need a second to move into the polling as long as they meet the other guidelines.
8. Nominations will be open through May 16. We will then have a poll. If there are a lot of nominations or the results are close, we will also have a run-off poll between or among the top vote-getters.
Please post nominations in this topic thread here on the group page, not by responding to the broadcast message sent to your Goodreads inbox.
Nominations are open! Let’s go!
