Laura

1.Summer
Finding Mr. Write by Kelley Armstrong Its just a great rom com by a fabulous author and romcoms scream summer to me.

2. Purple
The Undermining of Twyla and Frank by Megan Bannen from your tbr and quite purple. Looks summer reading like too.

3. Steampunk
Firelight (Darkest London, #1) by Kristen Callihan historical, steampunk, paranormal romance. I liked it and book 2, I've been meaning to read on for a long time. Something different that I think could work for you

Red Winter (Red Winter Trilogy, #1) by Annette Marie - purple cover, I know we've talkked about this series before

Tress of the Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson - summery and I loved this it was such a fun adventure. Will not stop recommending

Funny Story by Emily Henry - also summery and a sweet rom-com

Elena

Twice Shy by Sarah Hogle - another cute summery rom-com

The Kiss Curse (The Ex Hex, #2) by Erin Sterling - purple and witchy romance

Wicked Fox (Gumiho, #1) by Kat Cho - not sure if this cover will count as purple but it may work for summery?

Elena Granger | 1807 comments With a huge delay... Here are my picks for you :) This time not much diversity, mostly romcoms as I've been struggling finding a good chunky fantasy.

@Brittany
Fangirl Down (Big Shots, #1) by Tessa Bailey - haven't read it yet, but the mood is summery, basically the setting screams summer.
Funny Story by Emily Henry - I second this one, my all-time favorite summer romance, finished it recently and fall in love with the book.
ASAP by Axie Oh - for the purple color and I remember the first book was cute and light, which is always nice for summer/as a beach-read.

@Laura
The Undermining of Twyla and Frank by Megan Bannen - I'm also going to second this one, the description looks interesting and it's purple.
A Novel Love Story by Ashley Poston - haven't read this one yet, but looks like a very summery and light romance.
The Truth According to Ember by Danica Nava - for a change, Native American MCs, a rare find, also seems like a good one.

Laura ☾ | 899 comments I ended up reading the Undermining of Twyla and Frank - it wasn’t bad but not quite as good as Hart and Mercy!

Elena Granger | 1807 comments @Laura Oh that's so sad it wasn't great as we both recommended it. I hope you'll get a better one next time :)

I haven't gotten to anything. I do still hope to read Funny Story soonish. I had 3 new releases that I buy come out in July so I need to catch up on those first! I just keep getting sidetracked, so ya know typical reading for me.

Elena Granger | 1807 comments I've read True Love and Other Impossible Odds, it was ok. Actually I can't even say more about the book. It went pretty smooth, the story very linear, no surprising twists and steamy scenes, lots of teens with problems, even a sport-star. Not remarkable at all, though I enjoyed some parts.
