It's Wren here! This is just a random question. A really random one.
Is anyone going to BookCon? Please tell me! We can meet up. (I'm kinda desperate. I'm going alone. So I won't know anyone. It's scary thinking about it...) If you're in the NYC area, go to BookCon! Find me! I'll try to Tweet all day and look for people I might know. (Which is hard since I have no book-ish friends...) I might just go to the sessions I want to attend then flock to the hangout area that may or may not be there from BookCon 2014.
My worries:
What am I supposed to bring? I don't know! Books? My signature book is a must. But should I bring stuff to read? Notebooks to write things in? I know I'm bringing business cards...but I'm worried.
Will it be chaotic? I've heard about BookCon 2014. It was crazy. People had tough times in lines and whatnot. And I promised a good friend a signed copy of Cinder! Waaahh.
What will I do? I'm going to be alone! I don't want to be alone! Do I just wander? How is it? I've never been to a convention before. (Not SDCC or anything.) I don't know how to act. Or what to do.
Will I meet people? I think this is a...maybe. But I hope I do. I want book-ish friends.
If you're going to be there, please tell me! I would love to meet you!
