4 chapters- I don't see anything interesting yet...does it get any better?

I am 10 chapters in and it does get interesting. The main plot has started.

That's probably part of the reason I dnf-ed the book the first time

Oh. I’m powering through it because I know Holly Black has good mysteries and plot twists. I hope it’s worth it. I think this book is slow compared to her other books

It's okay ig so far and a bit slow-paced than I hoped for- but I think it'll be good eventually too-

...it could be Oliver or Maddy too- considering their mother is a lawyer

It could be but for some reason I think both red and Arthur would survive if he was the love intrest. The reason why I think Reyna could be us because I feel she is there in a lot of lesser scenes than the others and it’s because Simon is one of the lovable side characters who is always joking and careless.

If he were the love interest, he would be the right person to die tbh - for max emotional impact

But, it's kind of the not the point of the story- about who survives ig and more about who is the one that is going to die
