I used to listen to all kinds of music when I read, but I found that songs with lyrics sometimes got distracting so now I listen mostly to instrumentals. Classic Jazz is a favorite and I also like to listen to "Epica" music I think it is called - basically classical music that is written in the style of movie trailers. I've heard it called other terms too, like Trailer Music (which to me doesn't really fit well since it reminds me of some good ol' boy sitting outside his trailer listening to the Allman Brothers or whatever) or Position Music. If you still have no idea what I'm talking about, go to You Tube and search for "Two Steps From Hell" (the name of an artist) and listen to one of their songs. It's terrific stuff, especially for an adventure story.
